Addiction Studies Minor
Any interested student can take Addiction Studies courses. Two lower division courses have no pre-requisites: ADST 109 Drugs, Use and Abuse and ADST 258 Blood Borne Pathogens for Addictions Professionals.
The Addiction Studies minor is 27 credits and consists of 10 courses. See the current undergraduate catalog for course descriptions and minor requirements.
Completion of the courses in the Addiction Studies Minor and a 300 hour internship enables students to apply for the Idaho Student of Addiction Studies (ISAS) certification under the auspices of the Idaho Board of Alcohol/Drug Counselor Certification, Inc. (IBADCC) (http://ibadcc.org/)
