RN-BS Online/Distance Completion Track
I want to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me. I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND in 2007 and then a Master’s of Science in Nursing Education also from the University of Mary in 2013.
This is my first semester teaching online for Boise State University and I couldn’t be more excited! I am also teaching in an associate degree nursing program at Sheridan College in Sheridan, WY where I have been for the last 6 1/2 years. I have a passion for life-long learning and believe that as nurses, learning is never finished upon graduation. I thoroughly enjoys teaching nursing and love seeing the growth in students and those light bulb moments that occur!
I continue to work part-time as a registered nurse at Johnson County Healthcare Center and enjoy caring for the diverse patient populations that rural nursing allows. I also teach the American Heart Association Courses of ACLS and CPR.
I am married to my husband Kelly and we have a fun (and rambunctious) two year old boy named Corbin. We live in a small town called Buffalo in northern Wyoming, at the base of the Bighorn Mountains.
