Jeff Anderson, an associate professor in the department of Respiratory Care has been a respiratory care practitioner since graduation from Madison Area Technical College in Madison, Wisconsin. After graduation, he worked at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics for six years in the trauma and life support center, burn unit, cardiac surgery and medicine intensive care units, hematology, oncology, pediatrics, and pediatrics intensive care units. Joe Coyle
Joe Coyle is an Anesthesiologist and Critical Care physician with a long interest in Respiratory Care Education. Dr. Coyle is a graduate of Hahnemann Medical College and he did his Anesthesiology residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Dr. Coyle did Fellowships in Cardiac Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. More

Lutana Haan, MHS, RRT, RPSGT, is an associate professor in and the department chair of the Department of Respiratory Care in the College of Health Science at Boise State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Health Science Degree from Boise State. She is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and a Registered Polysomnographic Technician. Before coming to Boise State, she worked in sleep medicine primarily diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea in the pediatric through geriatric population. More

Lanny Inabnit earned his Associates of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy Technology in 1994 from Southern Illinois University, a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management in 2009 from East Carolina University, and a Master of Science in Respiratory Care Leadership in 2014 fromNortheastern University.  He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Services Research from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Megan Koster
Megan Koster is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Respiratory Care. She has been a Registered Respiratory Therapist since 2007, specializing in neonatal and pediatric intensive care.Koster earned a Master of Health Science with an emphasis in Health Promotion from Boise State University in 2011 and has been full time faculty since. Koster earned her Doctorate in Education from the University of New England in 2017, focusing primarily on innovative methods of identifying and assessing intellect in the undergraduate admissions process.  The theory and assessment of both intellect and skill, specifically in clinically-based programs throughout higher education, continues to be a primary research interest.   More

Jody Lester
Jody Lester earned her Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Boise State University. She has been teaching in respiratory care since 1983. One of her favorite quotes is “Teaching is like dropping ideas into the letter box of the human subconscious. You know when they are posted, but you never know when they will be received or in what form.” She feels fortunate to sometimes see the “letters arrive” as students come to understand a difficult concept or build on previous ones. T.J. Wing
TJ Wing earned his Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy in 2002, a Masters of Health Science with a Leadership emphasis in 2008 and a Doctorate in Educational Technology in 2018 from Boise State University. He has been teaching adult critical care and neonatal/pediatric emergency medicine in the Respiratory Care Program since 2003. TJ helped develop the BSRC DAP from the ground up, creating and delivering many of the foundational courses that are offered today. He has taught online courses since 2007 while completely dedicating his teaching workload to 100% online since 2015. TJ is passionate about online education with his dissertation focusing on formative versus summative assessment within online health care courses. More

Coleen Dudley
Coleen Dudley received her Associate of Science in Medical Records Science in 1991 and her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management in 1998. Coleen has also, completed the PSP (Professional Standards Program) through the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP) in 2007 with the distinction of CEOE (Certified Educational Office Employee). Coleen is the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Respiratory Care and has been with the university since 1993.

Michele Kelly Studio Portrait 
Michele Kelly is the Business Operations Specialist/Academic Advisor in the Department of Respiratory Care. She has been with Boise State since 2012, having joined the Respiratory Care team in June of 2017. Kelly, along with her husband of over 30 years and her two children, is a Boise State alumni, having earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in 1989. Her role within the Department of Respiratory Care encompasses administrative duties for all three respiratory care programs (the on campus, the RRT to BS on line, and the MSRC on line) as well as acting Advisor for the RRT to BS Degree Advancement Program.

Naomi Sallay joined the Department of Respiratory Care in June of 2018, she is the Administrative Assistant. Naomi a Boise State alumni, earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2017. She is currently working toward a Masters of Health Science with an emphasis in Health Promotion, as well as a Certificate in Health Services Leadership.
