Healthy Habits, Healthy U Program (HHHU)

HHHU is a community outreach initiative designed to teach and reinforce positive health habits in children. It focuses on the positive connection between increased physical activity and healthy food and beverage choices, and reduced cancer risks through a two-day educational program in the BSD health curriculum. Additional Information:

Dr. Spear works with students majoring in Public Health, including the Health Education & Promotion emphasis. In addition to the Healthy Habits, Healthy U program, her research interests lie in service-learning, and health promotion. Dr. Spear also holds the credential of a Master Certified Helath Education Specialist (MCHES), and is the advisor for Eta Sigma Gamma, the Health Education honorary.
