Associate Professor, School of Nursing
Connor moved to Boise in 2006 and began working as a faculty member at Boise State University. Her primary teaching responsibilities have been in maternity nursing, skills, health assessment, and informatics. Connor currently teaches in the healthcare simulation certificate program, the Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and the bachelor of science in nursing program.
During her tenure, Connor has developed courses in simulation education, informatics, and maternity nursing. In 2011, she received the Provost’s Excellence in Academic Advising Award at Boise State University. In 2012, Connor was a March of Dimes Idaho Nursing Excellence nominee.
Currently, Connor is a student at the University of Kansas working on her doctor of philosophy in nursing. She is working on her dissertation focusing on patient experiences with the electronic health record. Her research interests include simulation, educational gaming, interprofessional education, and informatics.
