Clinical Assistant Professor, School of Nursing
Darci McCall joined the School of Nursing in 2015, bringing experience in both the perinatal and pediatric fields. McCall has worked with high risk and low risk obstetrical patients in labor and delivery, postpartum care, nursery, gynecological surgery, and pediatrics.
She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Education from Jacksonville University and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Idaho State University. She holds a current certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring and is an Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Instructor with Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
McCall began working with students early in her nursing career and enjoys teaching and participating in her students’ learning experiences. Part of her philosophy is that nursing and teaching go hand in hand. She believes that one should never stop seeking opportunities to learn and loves sharing in this process with students.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, running, cooking, and spending time with her family. She also loves college football!
