Clinical Assistant Professor, School of Nursing
Beverley Rader Lugo pursued nursing as a second degree after a short career in journalism. Wanting a career to make a greater impact on people, Lugo returned to nursing school and graduated in 1999. Lugo spent the majority of her career in critical care nursing, achieving the Critical Care Registered Nurse certification 2005 from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Lugo also became certified in 2015 as an American Heart Association instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Lugo earned her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus on nursing education in 2009 and has since taught both full-time and adjunct in nursing programs in the Treasure Valley. She is passionate about caring for people as physical, emotional and spiritual people and is currently in the process of ministry formation for the Episcopal Diocese of Idaho.
