The Alzheimer’s Voice: Person-Centered and Person-Directed Dementia Care

The ADSSP National Resource Center is pleased to provide a new resource: The Alzheimer’s Voice: Person-Centered and Person-Directed Dementia Care. The purpose of this report is to define person-centered and person-directed dementia care, describe its challenges and benefits, and discuss specific approaches and tools that can be used to assess and improve shared decision-making, communication, and other aspects of dementia care. The main focus is on home and community-based dementia care.
