Osgood combines her expertise and experience as a consultant, health information director and quality management director to teach a variety of courses related to health informatics, health information, pathophysiology, and human growth and development at the undergraduate level. She has also conducted medical terminology workshops for community organizations.
Her commitment to the health informatics and information management profession is exemplified by her involvement in local and national organizations. Osgood has served in multiple volunteer positions including leadership roles in HIIM education for the American Health Information Management Association, President of the Idaho Health Information Management Association, and Idaho Health Information Technology workgroup.
