RN-BS Orientation

Nursing student works with clinical facultyCongratulations on your admission to the RN-BS Completion Track!

The following Orientation Modules, including the assessment in Module V, must be completed by all new RN-BS students prior to beginning courses at Boise State.  The modules and online courses at Boise State require a computer capable of running any certified or compatible operating system and web browser  (sorry, no tablets or smartphones).

The RN-BS Advising team will be notified as soon as you successfully pass and complete the evaluation.


ORIENTATION MODULES

Module I: Introduction to Distance Learning and RN-BS Completion Track (7 minutes)

Module II: Academic Advising Tutorial (17 minutes)

Module III: Registration and my.BoiseState.edu (6 minutes)

Module IV:  Blackboard (6 minutes)

Module V: Synopsis & Assessment (5 minutes)

NOTE:
You can always come back and reference this orientation should you have questions or need a refresher.


NEXT STEPS

  1. Contact your RN-BS Adviser to discuss a Plan of Study that outlines your path to graduation.
  2. Get familiar with the RN-BS resources and student services at Boise State.  These resources will help you successfully complete the program!
  3. Register for classes at my.boisestate.edu and log in to your BroncoMail account.
