Barbara Allerton, MSN, RN

Barbara is an Associate Professor. She teaches medical/surgical and emergency nursing care. Her interests lie in emergency nursing, pharmacology and in Holistic Nursing–guided imagery, relaxation, therapeutic touch, Traditional Chinese Medicine and pain management. She is also working to develop international exchange opportunities in China. She advises RN and LPN students returning to obtain a BS degree. Barbara received her BSN degree from Vanderbilt University and her MSN from Virginia Commonwealth University.
