Dr. Stephenson graduated in 1991 from Colorado State University with a Ph.D. in Environmental Health. His specialty is Occupational Health and Safety. In addition to being the Center Director, Dr. Stephenson is also the Program Director for Boise State University's Academic Environmental and Occupational Health Degree Program housed in the College of Health Sciences' Department of Community and Environmental Health.

Deana Smith is an Environmental and Occupational Health undergraduate student and is currently performing an internship with the Center for Excellence for Environmental Health and Safety. Deana is responsible for the performance of all aspects related to the Center’s training mission including instructor recruitment and course development, marketing, and quality control.

Ms. Black provides budget administration support to the Center. A long time employee of Boise State University, Leslie is well versed in all aspects of contract negotiations between the institution and external stakeholders.

Danielle Long

Danielle Long graduated Coastal Carolina University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science with a minor Chemistry. She is currently working on her Master’s of Health Science emphasizing in Environmental Health. As a graduate assistant to Dr. Stephenson, Danielle provides various functions for the Center including course logistics, respiratory fit-testing, and instrumentation calibration.
